 - the little Tramp lost in a world of wheels and mechanical whirring.This is my first "real" oil painting - I had only done a few try-out sketches with my newly acquired oil starter-kit beforehand - and I must say I'm quite proud of it! I was amazed at how easy it was to use the oil colours - they basically painted themselves, a lot of the things I had always tried - vainly - to achieve with my watercolours were suddenly made incredibly easy, and it was the start of a love affair that is still lasting... |
