First draft for my next London Art College assignment - a composition using three different bits of reference and a "chinese whispers" technique - modifying the reference image and morphing it into something else, so to speak.
I think I went a bit overboard with the use of reference, this is based on about four or five different photos (and arr, Doctor Who screen caps), plus a bunch of my own pencil sketches - the hands and eyes, and a life drawing, and a tree.
Bit crowded at the moment, but hey., it's only a first draft for getting my head around the image. Stay tuned!

So far I haven't completed enough exercises to submit them for feedback, so I can't really say if it's any good! At least it kicks me into working, and trying out some new things.
