life drawing pose after some famous painting whose name I failed to catch ---- this was a tutored life drawing class, for a change. Good for me, the tutor encouraged me to work more with lines and less with tonal shadings - I thought some of the sketches looked quite different from what I have usually done.

Time to move away from all that meticulously realistic stuff, methinks! It impresses people, but actually ----- it's boring.
