Hunting for the face of Ged the Wizard of Gont - a preliminary study that I think goes in the right direction, except perhaps the nose is a bit small and not hawklike enough. This would be Ged at the time of The Tombs of Atuan, in his late twenties, maybe (his exact age is never stated in any of the books after Wizard of Earthsea, but I reckon he would be about 10 years older than Tenar)

Do U think he's handsome? :P

Mmmm, maybe a little bonier? I think he's handsome enough, but you have to admit he leads a pretty hard life - sailing, hunting, or being hunted by various beings of power, etc.

Awesomely life-like.

This one I drew from my head, but I had been looking at a lot of photos of American First Nation people, trying to get the ethnicity right. :) Also I do (or used to do) life drawing regularly, so that helps.:)

It's a pretty well fed Ged huh? I imagine it would be him in his late twenties, maybe while he was in Havnor preparing for his trip to Atuan? Not sure, no, I don't really see him bony... until Tehanu. :) Though you're right, he might be ... maybe "hardened" rather than "thin".
